Jørgen Bek Weiss Hansen is an attorney and partner in the law firm Lassen Ricard. He is admitted to the Danish Bar and to the New York State Bar and has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Stanford University.
His main area of work is commercial law, where he advises Danish and international companies, mainly on issues regarding company law, mergers and acquisitions, finance law, litigation and construction law.
Jørgen is also deeply involved in the entrepreneurial community. He is attorney for and advisory board member of a number of entrepreneurial companies, mainly high-tech entrepreneurs. He also assists several entrepreneurial organisations, offering advice, lectures, pitch training and assistance as a judge in entrepreneurial competitions, etc.
Jørgen is an external lecturer at Copenhagen University, the Faculty of Law, where he teaches the graduate course "The entrepreneur's legal challenges", and he is co-author of the textbook bearing the same name.
He is a member of the International Committee of the Danish Bar and Law Society and former member of the LegalTech working groups of both the Association of Danish Law Firms and the Danish Bar and Law Society.
