Iben is an experienced lawyer who gives advice and handles disputes within the area of commercial law. She conducts litigation and arbitration proceedings within various fields of the law.
Iben specializes particularly in media, entertainment and intellectual property law and related areas of law, and she has considerable experience in advising e.g. media, cultural institutions, production companies, publishers and artists in relation to both contractual relationships and disputes. She advises inter alia on copyright, trademark law, data protection law and marketing law, and furthermore on the interaction between freedom of expression and opposing rights, e.g. in relation to defamation, privacy, the right to one's own image, source protection and media liability.
Iben has in-depth knowledge of the statutory producer responsibility, and she advises industry players on legal matters in relation to producer responsibility for e.g. electronics, batteries and packaging.
In the period 2018-2020, Iben was employed as an assistant judge inter alia in the Supreme Court. She has thus experience with fundamental legal issues as well as with the organisation of major court cases.
