Henrik’s primary areas of practice are IP and competition law, construction law (building and engineering as well as IT), energy law and telecommunications law. He also assists a number of companies with advice on general commercial law.

Henrik is experienced in advocacy and has over the years conducted a huge number of court cases and arbitration cases, including cases before international arbitration tribunals involving offshore projects conducted in English, as well as cases before the Copyright License Tribunal and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

In addition, Henrik is a certified arbitrator and mediator.

Selected cases

U.2014.2442H concerning the scope of the exception under s 31(1) of the Copyright Act. The group of related proceedings involved preliminary reference and oral argument before the CJEU.
U.2014.1739H concerning the scope of s 31(2) of the Copyright Act.
U.2015.37H concerning the right of the Copenhagen Airport to claim recovery for the costs of establishing RPM services. The opponent was SAS, acting on behalf of all airline companies using the Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup.
A number of cases before the Copyright License Tribunal and the courts concerning terms and conditions for exploiting music rights, including for radio and TV stations.
International ad hoc arbitration case concerning the associated oil/gas field Syd Arne in the Danish North Sea Sector. The case was heard before a Danish arbitration tribunal under Danish (and EU) law with examinations in both Danish and English. The case was conducted in Danish.
International arbitration cases before the German arbitration institute (DIS) concerning two offshore wind turbine parks in the Baltic Sea. The cases were heard before an international arbitration tribunal under German law with examinations in both German and English. The cases were conducted in English.
