The Social Legal Aid (Den Sociale Retshjælp)

We support the provision of free legal assistance and representation to persons who cannot afford the services of a lawyer. Many of our employees have previously been providing legal aid or are doing so now, and Lassen Ricard has also repeatedly made free resources available to The Social Legal Aid.

NGOs

Lassen Ricard supports several NGOs by providing free legal assistance as well as by serving on boards of directors or representatives.

One of the organisations we support is Kofoed’s School, which is helping unemployed and disadvantaged persons to help themselves. This is accomplished by means of training and education, advice, social interaction and help with practical problems.

We also provide free legal assistance to the Fairtrade Mark, which is an international labelling system that is working to secure better pay and decent working conditions for the world’s vulnerable farmers and workers.

Lassen Ricard also regularly assists the National Association for Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), which is a rare progressive neurodegenerative disorder.

For many years, Lassen Ricard has assisted The Bird Protection Foundation, whose object is to protect Denmark’s birds, e.g., by contributing to preserving or creating important bird sanctuaries.

We also assist the Danish Society for Nature Conservation, the Danish Rheumatism Association, the Danish Diabetes Association and the Danish Cultural Institute.

Entrepreneurs

Lassen Ricard is highly committed to innovation and entrepreneurship.

We think that this is the best way for Denmark to remain competitive and create developments in a globalised world. Innovation and entrepreneurship can be learned, and the right beginning is crucial to the success of a startup.

Lassen Ricard is involved in several entrepreneur organisations. In that capacity, we act as mentors to several exciting entrepreneurs, to whom we also provide training and education as well as legal assistance on a pro bono basis.
